Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Theme Studio — the website at themestudio.co and the companion iOS application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. Who we are

Theme Studio is operated by Nate Wren ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@themestudio.co.

2. What the Service does

Theme Studio lets you design themes — icon backgrounds, wallpapers, widget styles — for use with the iOS app. The web editor runs in your browser; the iOS app applies the resulting themes to your device's home screen.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of every theme you create. We don't claim any rights to your creations and we don't store them on our servers.

Wallpaper images and icon artwork that ship with Theme Studio are licensed to you for personal use only as part of the Service. Don't redistribute the bundled artwork outside the Service or claim it as your own.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Theme Studio to:

• Build themes containing illegal content, hate speech, content sexualizing minors, or harassment targeting a specific person.
• Reverse-engineer the Service, attack its infrastructure, or attempt to extract its private artwork in bulk for redistribution.
• Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Resell access to the Service or its bundled artwork.

5. Account and subscription

The Service may be used without an account. Some features — currently planned but not yet enabled — require signing in with Sign in with Apple and subscribing through Apple's App Store, Google Play, or our website billing partner. Subscription terms, pricing, and renewal behavior are presented at the time of purchase.

You can cancel a subscription at any time through the platform where you purchased it (Apple ID Subscriptions, Google Play Subscriptions, or our billing portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Free trial limits

The free tier of Theme Studio allows a limited number of individual PNG icon exports without a subscription. The exact limit is displayed in the app and may be adjusted in future updates. Theme JSON exports (the .tstheme bundle) remain free.

7. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties — Cloudflare (hosting/CDN), RevenueCat (subscription billing, when enabled), Apple (Sign in with Apple and App Store), and Google (Play Store, if applicable). Their terms apply to the parts of the Service they provide.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, browser, or iOS version.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. Termination doesn't refund unused subscription time unless required by law or by the platform handling your subscription (Apple / Google).

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service changes meaningfully. The "Last updated" date will change. We'll surface material changes on the home page.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in those courts, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to choose another venue.
