Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Theme Studio: the website at themestudio.co and the companion iOS application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. Who we are

Theme Studio is operated by Nate Wren ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@themestudio.co.

2. What the Service does

Theme Studio lets you design themes (icon backgrounds, wallpapers, widget styles) for use with the iOS app. The web editor runs in your browser; the iOS app applies the resulting themes to your device's home screen.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of every theme you create. We don't claim any rights to your creations, and we don't store them on our servers unless you choose to share one (see 3.1).

Wallpaper images and icon artwork that ship with Theme Studio are licensed to you for personal use only as part of the Service. Don't redistribute the bundled artwork outside the Service or claim it as your own.

3.1 Sharing themes

When you share a theme (via Share to Phone, a share link, QR code, or code), you upload that theme to our servers so we can deliver it. You give us permission to store and serve that file for that purpose. You are responsible for what you share, and you confirm you have the right to share every image it contains.

• Share links are public to anyone who has the link, QR, or code, and are not private or encrypted. Don't share themes with images you wouldn't want a recipient to keep.
• A user share stays available while people use it and is removed automatically after a year without a download. You can delete your own share at any time from the share box where you created it. We don't guarantee a share stays available.
• Shared themes may be posted publicly (for example on Reddit or social media) by you or by anyone who has the link. Don't share anything sexually explicit, hateful, or that you don't have the right to share.
• The Acceptable-use rules below apply to shared content. We may remove any share, or disable any code, at our discretion, for any reason.
• Reporting and copyright. To report a shared theme, use "Report this theme" on its page or email hello@themestudio.co with the link or code. If you believe a shared theme uses your copyrighted work, email us the link or code, a description of the work, and your contact details, and we'll remove it promptly.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Theme Studio to:

• Build themes containing illegal content, hate speech, content sexualizing minors, or harassment targeting a specific person.
• Reverse-engineer the Service, attack its infrastructure, or attempt to extract its private artwork in bulk for redistribution.
• Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Resell access to the Service or its bundled artwork.
• Share themes containing images you don't have the right to distribute (for example, someone else's photos or copyrighted artwork).

5. Subscriptions & in-app purchases

The Service can be used without an account. PNG icon exports are unlimited on both the free and Pro tiers; on the free tier, icons export using the built-in "Solid" icon pack. To unlock exporting every icon pack, custom icon import, pro widgets, and other premium features, Theme Studio Pro is sold exclusively through Apple's App Store. We do not sell access through our website, and we do not accept payment outside of Apple's in-app purchase system.

Pro is offered in three tiers:

• Monthly subscription: auto-renews each month through your Apple ID until canceled.
• Yearly subscription: auto-renews each year through your Apple ID until canceled.
• Lifetime: a one-time, non-recurring purchase. No renewal, no cancellation required.

Current pricing and the renewal interval are displayed inside the Theme Studio iOS app at the time of purchase. By tapping the purchase button you authorize the charge to your Apple ID.

5.1 Auto-renewal

Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The renewal charge is billed to your Apple ID. You will not receive a refund for the unused portion of any billing period in which you cancel.

5.2 How to cancel

You can cancel anytime from your iPhone:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
3. Tap Theme Studio Pro → Cancel Subscription.

The same flow is available from inside Theme Studio under Settings → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then.

5.3 Refunds

Because all purchases are processed by Apple, refund requests must be made through Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase, and follow the instructions there. We are not able to issue refunds directly.

5.4 Restoring purchases

If you reinstall Theme Studio or use a new device with the same Apple ID, open Settings → Restore Purchases (or tap Restore on the paywall) to re-enable your Pro access.

6. Free-tier limits

The free tier of Theme Studio allows unlimited PNG icon exports, theme JSON exports (the .tstheme bundle), and applying any theme, all with no cap. On the free tier, icons export using the built-in "Solid" icon pack; exporting other icon packs requires Theme Studio Pro. These tier details may be adjusted in future versions; any change will be announced in-app and updated in the App Store listing before it takes effect.

7. Third-party services

The Service depends on a few third parties:

• Apple: App Store distribution and in-app purchase processing. Apple's terms apply to the purchase transaction itself.
• Cloudflare: hosting and CDN for themestudio.co and cdn.themestudio.co.
• RevenueCat: the SDK we use to track subscription state inside the iOS app. See our Privacy Policy for what it receives.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, browser, or iOS version.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. Termination doesn't refund unused subscription time unless required by law or by the platform handling your subscription (Apple / Google).

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service changes meaningfully. The "Last updated" date will change. We'll surface material changes on the home page.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in those courts, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to choose another venue.
