Studio Tab
The creative surface. Studio applies your chosen styling to every icon in your Export List at once. Changes here are live: tweak a slider, every queued icon updates.
Layout
- Device preview at the top shows a mock Home Screen with your current settings.
- Accordions below the preview group the editing controls:
- Edit Icons, see Editing Icons.
- Edit Widgets, see Editing Widgets.
- Edit Wallpaper, see Editing Wallpaper.
- Save Theme / Load Theme buttons at the bottom of the page.
Preview header (above the device mock)
- Edit Layout button (leading), opens the Layout Editor. The Layout Editor is where you arrange your icons on a home-screen grid; the editor's mode (Layout vs. Bakery) follows your icon background type automatically.
- Expand / contract toggle (iPhone only), flips between compact and large preview modes. The large preview shows more pixel detail and renders the same page 1 layout you'd get on your real Home Screen. On iPad the preview always sits side by side with the controls, so this toggle is hidden.
- Dark / light toggle (moon / sun), swaps the preview background between dark and light, so you can see how your design reads on either.
- Help (?), opens a short in-tab help sheet.
- Settings (gear), opens app settings.
On iPad (and any wide screen), the device preview and the icon preview always fit on screen together, side by side or stacked, whichever gives the bigger preview.
The global sync toggle (globe icon)
Most accordion sections have a globe-icon toggle in their header. When on (default), changing a slider in that section updates every queued icon. When off, your edits only affect the icon shown in the active preview, letting you style icons one by one.
Sections with their own globe toggle:
- Icon Pack
- Icon (size)
- Advanced (opacity + offset)
- Icon Overlay
- Background
- Shadow
- Widget styling
Theme buttons
At the bottom of the page:
- Save Theme (download icon), snapshots your current Studio styling as a re-applicable theme. Re-applying it doesn't bring back your Layout Editor arrangement. See My Themes.
- Load Theme (palette icon), picks a saved theme to restore.
Export buttons
- Export PNG, exports the currently-previewed icon as a single PNG.
- Export Multiple, opens the Export List. The button shows how many icons are queued, for example "Export Multiple (3)".
Studio device preview tracking the Layout Editor
When you've placed at least one icon on page 1 of the Layout Editor, the Studio device preview mirrors that exact arrangement, same icons, same positions. Clearing page 1 reverts the preview to the default staging icons.
